All our teachers are fully qualified and have trained at full-time professional dance colleges and have experience in the professional dance industry.
We are an organised school with a structured and progressive timetable and clearly defined class age groups.
We are the only school in the area to offer optional exams that are accredited and recognised by Ofqual (the regulating board for qualifications in England), higher level exams qualify as UCAS points for University or higher education institutions

Kim Frost - Principal
The Kim Frost School of Dance was established in 1998. Principal, Miss Kim trained at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester. She enjoyed a professional career as a dancer in theatres and on cruise ships around the world and is a registered and qualified teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and a registered and qualified Licentiate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD). Kim recently qualified as a tutor for the a Royal Academy of Dance to deliver CPD workshops to teachers.
Miss Hannah trained at Cambridge Performing Arts and with London Contemporary Dance at 'The Place'. She performed in the UK and Europe with the Bodywork Dance Company and for The London College of Fashion. She is a registered and qualified teacher of the RAD and the ISTD and also holds her teaching qualification in Pilates. Students have the option to enter local festivals and competitions. The competition team is led by Miss Hannah who has many years of experience entering and choreographing festival dances.
Miss Joanna trained at the Deborah Capon Dance Collage, completing her ISTD dance teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap and Modern. She is also qualified to teach Acrobatic Arts. She has taught at many performing arts and dance schools, and has significant experience teaching classes in Yorkshire, all over the UK and as far as Dubai.
Miss Jessica is a qualified primary school teacher and an experienced Dance Teacher. She has had extensive experience as performer working with JLS, gaining 3 stars in Sky 1 'Got to Dance', is 5th in the World Solo Streetdance championships and has toured the UK in the 'breakin convention'. Jessica teaches the Streetdance classes on a Wednesday evening, working on all styles of hip hop dance such as locking, popping, break dance, commercial and house.
Miss Amanda trained at SLP college in Leeds for three years, completing her teacher training qualifications and dancing in professional shows.
She is a qualified ISTD teacher and has over 15 years of experience teaching children and adults of all ages. She is delighted to be joining the team at Kim Frost School of Dance and is looking forward to having fun and inspiring her pupils.
Miss Katy is a qualified and registered teacher of the ISTD. She is a qualified Acrobatic Arts teacher. She has taught abroad for the past ten years in Norway, Canada and Bermuda and is pleased to share her wealth of experience with our students.
